18. St Mark's Square
| In quick succession, we have another shot that has graced many a calendar in its time. St Mark's Square is certainly impressive - 'the drawing room of Europe' etc, but it doesn't have a lot of character. You won't hear much Italian spoken here. Anyway, to be fair, it's not anything like as bad as it could be, so elbows out - let's head for the Basilica. |
