23. One of beaches between Cascais and Estoril
| Again some 15 miles from Lisbon and easily reached by train, the Cascais and Estoril area is very reminiscient of the coast of Northern France or seaside Britain. Cascais has a small harbour feel and several beaches, like this one at Conceicao. I enjoyed a welcome pint sat outside the cafe on the left of the picture. There is a delightful esplanade walk for two or three miles along to its slightly posher neighbour, Estoril. |
