Welcome to a short trip around Dublin, the capital of Ireland . There are 16 pictures to view which are all of the central part of Dublin. There are many excursions to be made outside the city, but I have only covered the centre. Dublin isn't that big and all main tourist sights can be easily seen on foot in one day. If you are travelling in Ireland and allow a day in Dublin that should be enough - it's one of those capitals that doesn't really reflect the country it's in, which has been the case for a very long time. If you have heard the expression 'Beyond the Pale' this refers to the area around Dublin in the 13th Century (The Pale) that was totally separate from the rest of Ireland and to travel outside was to leave Dublin and enter Ireland proper.
