22. Old Railway Tracks near Big Pit
| Here is pictured some of the track that will hopefully be renovated soon. The Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway Society plan to extend their service southward to a station serving the National Mining Museum at Big Pit, then on under this bridge on the Forgeside road to the site of the original Blaenafon High level Station. It looks like all they need is a man with a strimmer and some pruning shears, although it may not be quite that easy. |
