33. Pamplona Traffic


Parking in Pamplona is as bad as it gets - it's the sort of place where people will pull into any parking space they see for the novelty value, even if they hadn't intended to stop. Fleets of tow trucks ferry lifted cars to the car pound , but if you can show a foreign passport the fine is less than for locals - about 150 euros. I speak from experience. This is a city where a hotel with its own garage is the only sensible option if you need to use a car - you can lose literally hours of your day trying to find somewhere to park for the night.
