| Here is the monument to Christopher Columbus at the end of La Rambla. It is well worth taking the lift to the top for an excellent view. He's meant to be pointing to the New World, but for some strange reason he is actually pointing the other way, towards Majorca and Ibiza. What more proof that Columbus was actually really a tourist all along, perhaps a bit before his time, but all he was really looking for was somewhere to chill. |
